WSOPE dates, schedule, and venues announced 5 Months ago Karma: 0
All the details are here http://www.londonpokerdirectory.com/index.php/London-Poker-News/World-Series-of-Poker-Europe-Details-Announced.html

I would love to play in this! I was in Vegas for the WSOP (not playing) and am determined to play that next year whether I qualify or simply make enough money to pay for the trip and entrance BUT the WSOPE would be the next best thing especially being in London.

Has anyone seen any good qualifiers for this?

It would appear BETFAIR, FULLTILT, and BODOG are heavily invested in satellites to the WSOPE.

I too am trying to satellite my way to all of the major events. My play is good. I win more than I lose, but, I am not making nearly enough to justify a 10K to 25K buy-in hit to my poker bankroll.

Good luck on the felt and hopefully we will be looking across the felt, at one another, at a major tourney soon.

Thinking of playing again today - I won $1,200 in it about 2 weeks ago but want the big 200k!!!

Congratulations on the win!!!

Yeah, those big ones are tempting. I ponied up the $270 to play in the Bodog 250K on Sunday. Ended up going out midfield (350/816). A very poor showing.

I goofed overplaying a pair of aces, four cards to a flush, four cards to a straight. Missed everything and went down to two pairs. It had been going well up to this point. I was sitting on 180 bb, 50% over average, working my way through it. I played carefully for another 2 hours, but could not catch anyone else's mistakes. With 15 bb left I pushed all-in with AJoff (best hand I had seen in 45 minutes) UTG and got one caller with A6off...caught his 6 on the river (actually on the bloody river!).

Oh well, there is always the next one.

Good luck on the felt!
