If you haven't seen the news yet the guys at the WSOP have decided to move the final table to November which is over 3 months after the main event in Vegas!

The idea behind it is that it is supposed to create loads more excitement around the event and generate a buzz around the world whith everyone asking "who will win?"

Personally I am not sure what I think - On teh one side it sounds like a great idea and if it makes poker bigger and more popular then that is all good with me....however there could be all sorts of problems when there is $22 million at stake from collusion to deal making to all sorts of dodgy goings on. One person also posed the questions "what would happen if the player was from outside the US and couldn't get a visa to come back in Nov?

Also - Can you imagine the pain and frustration you would feel if you made the final table and then had to wait 3 months- Geez, it would kill me!

The waiting would kill me, and I don't think it's necessary to generate interest. 3 months is a long time. I personally think it's too radical a change.
