Went last year and loved it but have failed to qualify this year - Tried my dam hardest mainly playing the steps at Pokerstars - Only managed as far as step 4 and then hovered around for ages, helped to build my VIP points but nowt else!

hello mate, am new here, great site, just about spot on what I was looking for!

i got into poker about a year ago after my old man (who played / plays a hell of a lot online) qualified for the wsop last year too. i went with him for a laugh, but wasn't even into poker and didn't even know how to play!

he did alright anyway and made the 2nd day, but had trips done on the river by a straight.

anyway, cut a long'un short, i forced myself to learn soon after gettin back to england and haven't looked back since. did play a hell of a lot on pkr, but so fishy it's unreal, so stick to stars now.

i'd love to have gone this year, but a bit early for me i think, even though am playing pretty well online. next year for sure though. hopefully!
