LondonPubPoker.co.uk has three leagues currently running
Monday At The Gable Moorgate
Tuesday @ClerkenWell House Farringdon
Wednesday @ The Apple Tree in Mt Pleasant
From June 12th also at My Hotels Bloomsbury/Tottenham Ct Rd

All games are £5 Double Chance - ie one rebuy or Add On
see http://www.LondonPubPoker.co.uk or www.blapo.co.uk

On A Friday (No league but good fun) £15 Freezeout at Loose Cannon ideal also for beginners.

Other resources www.London PokerMeetup.co.uk include all LondonPubPoker.co.uk games on the calendar and hold other events too.

In East London @ E10 Club on a Thursday is a £20+5 Dealer Dealt tourney

And Monthly @Loose cannon is The LPM Beer hand Open which is £30 +6 and gets about a 100 + runners. http://www.Loosecannonec4.co.uk

As for Essex not too sure but we do get a load of Essex Players on a Monday @ The Gable as it is so near to Moorgate.

Hope this helps in some way.

Just a quick post to vouch that Steve's events are very good - I played a local pub game in my area and it was awful. It was run by a couple of saffie girls (all be it fit) who didn't have a clue about poker so I was a little sceptical of pub poker after that but as you can see in another of my threads I played his Clarkenwell game and loved it - Great fun and more like how a poker game should be played

Cheers Alex for The Vouch

We have been running Pub Games for 2 years and all our rules and ways of doing things come from my brother who runs The Cornish PokerLeague.

Our nights are fun but also prepare you for playing in any casino or cardroom -We even have a clause in our membership that states you have to be welcoming to new players.
