Six other players shared 20% of the jackpot for taking part in the Bad Beat hand and will receive £2,510.35 each, while 26 further players who were present in the room playing cash games will share 5% of the jackpot and received £144.83 each.

There will be a champagne reception in Icon Bar at 6pm on Tuesday 8th when the jackpot table players will receive their prizes.

Says Hoan Tran, Club Director at the Empire: “This jackpot is still one of a kind in the UK, and we are ecstatic that it's been won again, just a month after the first jackpot - which had grown to £222K over a 10 month period was shared out! The jackpot will be reseeded with £31,035.75, keeping £10,000 of the current £41,035.75 reseed fund in reserve.”
