Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club Review PDF Print E-mail
Wednesday, 11 February 2009
I spent last weekend in Nottingham and as such experienced the Dusk Till Dawn Poker Club - Well to me it is there number one tourist attraction. I know it isn't a London poker club but as I enjoyed it so much I have put together a review for you with all the information you will need should you want to go along yourself.

Dusk till Dawn Poker Club

The Dusk till Dawn Poker Club is the largest poker club in the UK right now and is located on Redfield Way in Lenton, Nottingham. The poker club is completely free to join and opened from Wednesday to Sunday every week from 7:30PM until the late hours of the morning. If you live in the UK area or are planning on visiting the UK area anytime in the near future and you’re a fan of poker then you need to spend a night playing at the Dusk till Dawn Poker Club. There is some information you should know before you go the poker club though and we’re going to look at this information today.

Membership
  • You can sign-up for your free membership to the Dusk till Dawn Poker Club through there website at DuskTillDawnPoker.com. Once you’ve signed up through the website you’ll need to visit the poker club with a passport or driving license to receive your membership card.

  • Dusk till Dawn has a dress code policy which needs to be met and it basically says that you can’t wear track suits or sweat suits, but you can dress casually. There are also a few rules and guidelines I suggest reading on there website before visiting the poker club.

Facilities

  • Dusk till Dawn has an amazing poker room with a great atmosphere where players mingle with each other while playing poker. The poker room has 45 tables as well as 24 plasma television screens.

  • There is a bar where you can order drinks and food in the poker club as well so you don’t need to starve while playing poker. You’ll also find a VIP area in the poker club which is only open to people with an invite.

  • You can’t smoke inside of the poker club, but they do have a smoking section outside of the doors to the poker club which is sheltered from rain.

  • The poker club has a designated parking lot for all of there players and can allow for over 200 cars to be parked in the lot on any given night.

Poker

  • On a given night there are cash games and small tournaments played in Dusk till Dawn Poker Club, but during some special occasions there are big events held at the club. You can find details about what is being offered every month through the website I listed above.

Accommodations

  • If you don’t live close enough to the poker room to drive home after a long night of poker then you’ll be able to stay at one of tree hotels within minutes from the poker club. There is a Holiday Inn, Premiere Inn and Hilton that aren’t very far from the poker club and they range in prices so that everyone can stay within there budget.

The Dusk till Dawn Poker Club is a thrilling experience that poker players should experience. You won’t find a poker club like this anywhere else in the UK right now and on any given night there are hundreds of players in the club playing poker. Keep in mind you need to be 18+ to join the poker club, but other then that they don’t have many rules or restrictions.
