Poker is now availiable 24/7 at The Empire Casino after a decision by the management to allow the venue to in effect never close much like its Vegas counter parts.

If you have not been to The Empire, it is well worth a visit especially for some of their tournaments as they tend to attract a large number of fish that usually play the casino games in the main hall, and use poker as a break from their risk laden gambling. It is not rare to see these players go "all in" every other hand for the fun of it and although sometimes irritating when they turn the odds on their head nine times out of ten they simply raise the prize money and go out early so a perfect player to have.

Unfortunately The Empire is still not quite there on the cash games although there is usually one or two going on the busier nights but for this 24hr ruling to really take effect they need to put some more effort into organising dealer dealt cash games in my opinion as well as encourgaing low stake cash games at all times - The problem is its a catch 22 and without the players you can't get a game whilst at the same time why would you go if you can't get a game......
