LPC Returns To London PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 16 October 2009

Just one month ago we heard the London Poker Cicruit (LPC) was shutting their doors ending the dream of a regular series of big poker tournaments in London, but the LPC is back and it looks like they are bigger wisely moving the event to The Sportsman Casino.

The new tournament will be named the "Friday Fifty" and will take place at The Sportsman Casino with the inaugural tournament taking place on Friday October 23rd and then continuing on a weekly basis. Not only this though the organisers are guarenteeing a £5,000 prize pool although with 150 seats it is likely to be a lot more and quite possibly over £15,000.

The buy in for this new format is £50 + £5 with an option to do one rebuy and one add on and with 30 min blinds and a starting stack of 5,000 expect this to be a full tournament. If the buy in is a little rich for you then they are running satallites at Kensington Close Hotel on a weekly basis starting this week on Tuesday and Thursday - Details are

When: Every Tuesday and Thursday evening starting from 21st October, 7.00pm
Where: Kensington Close Hotel and Spa, Wrights Lane, London, W8 5SP
