Membership Information:

The River Card Club is like most poker rooms in London so is under the "private members social club" rules which basically means that as long as you have some photo ID such a a drivers licence or passport you will be cool - You can also fill out the form online here www.therivercardclub.com/membership-form.html

Food:

The food is nothing to write home about but don't misunderstand me it isn't disgusting, it is simply the norm - sandwiches and snacks which like Ronseal "do exactly what they say on the tin."

Bar:

They don't serve alcohol here but do have soft drinks, tea and coffee which are all free of charge - They also don't mind if you bring a beers yourself.

Personal Comments/Advice:

This club is a little bit out the way for me to play regularly at, but on the occasion I played there it was a good laugh - It could certainly do with some more people and a better place to go for a cigarette (You have to go onto a crampt balcony as is based in a room above a building society) but on the whole it was a great place to go down and play a tournament or two and the level of player is pretty average so you stand a good chance of getting in the money. (Sorry to the locals!)
