The International Poker Club is a realtively new poker club on the scene but had some very experienced people behind it as it has brought over much of the management and staff from Gutshot, so expect the Gutshot in a nicer venue with a different postcode!

Personal Comments/Advice:
I really like The International - It took me a while to find it which to be honest was more my fault than the location! The actual club is down stairs so doesn't have much natural light but it is a great venue with lots of space and some great added extras from quiz games, great internet and a well organised membership system and bar.
The games themselves are played on the full size poker tables as opposed to the hexagon self deals tables, which can be annoying when trying to deal the length of the table. However this isn't much of a problem as the worst that can happen is you may flip cards but most members are used to that, and on most occaisions someone volunteers to deal for a beer or two. I need to get down there more but so far I am very impressed.
Games Availiable: There are lots of games availible at The International, and not just poker, also backgammon, chess and pool - I have uploaded the latest tournament schedule here On top of tournaments there are always plenty of cash games availible that work for everyone from small stakes up to £2-£5 NL on a Saturday night which often lasts well over 24 hours into Sunday evening.
